Happy Tuesday, friends! It’s time for another garden party – how are your gardens growing now? I hope you’re all able to get out and enjoy some of this fun spring weather – which for us has included a hailstorm, rain, temps in the 30s and then sun and a high temp of 75 over the last four days! Ah, spring keeps us on our toes, right? I’m hosting this week, so keep reading for more of what I’m doing in our garden-

From your host this week, me!
Oh, wonderful spring! I’m happy to report we are eating the first of our garden lettuce and spinach to go along with all the asparagus we’ve been harvesting. Such. a. great. feeling. The brassica seedlings (broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage) have all been planted under the row cover that helps them so much and I’m in the process of hardening off the tomato seedlings to plant out under their cover this next week or so.
And all the spring flowers? They’re so delicate and beautiful. I find myself just wandering around looking to see what new bud or bloom has appeared. It’s nice to enjoy the change of seasons, isn’t it?
Did you all get a chance to check out the great links from last week’s party? So interesting and inspiring! Here are the five I chose to feature this week:
1. A twig pea trellis (and neat garden!) at Moms Sunday Cafe
2. DIY Cedar Flower Planter at Lehman Lane
3. DIY Flagstone Path at Gentle Joy Homemaker
4. Planting early tomatoes with Wall-o-Waters at Stoney Acres
5. Growing a Butterfly Garden (and hosting Monarchs!) at Maple Hill Farm
Looking forward to this week’s garden goodness – link it up below!
