Here are more than 23 unique and creative handmade gifts for all skill levels. Whether it's holiday gifts, birthday gifts, Mother's Day gifts, wedding gift ideas and more, these ideas will be perfect everyone. They include food gifts, decor, beauty, and more.

Oh, do I have some great handmade gift ideas for you! Some of these are from our archives and others are from some incredibly talented bloggers.
And you're going to love the fact that these gifts cover all skill levels, from the easiest crafts to slightly more involved like knitting.
I also think that many of these handmade gifts are suitable for what I call our 'family gifts' at the holidays - one gift that is given to each family instead of individual gifts. Though really for the parents, since we do give separate gifts for the kids, when food's involved in the general gift, it truly is for everyone.
Giving one handmade gift to a family is a great way to give simple, meaningful gifts and still stay in your budget for the holidays.
Of course, many of these gifts would work well for anniversaries and birthdays, too, depending on the gift.
And since they are not your average gifts, they will definitely be appreciated!

These are great ideas. I especially like the wood slice coasters and the ranch dressing Mason jar ideas.
Have a blessed day!

Oh, thank you Suzanne - those two are my projects! 🙂

You're welcome, Jami. 🙂

Carol, you can learn by sitting across from a right handed knitter or cocheter. You may also go to a fantastic and raft store or yarn shop and check for classes. I learned across from someone to chain stitch and to knit and pearl. I then bought a booklet called, I Taught Myself to Crochet to learn other stitches. There are left hand booklets also. Good luck!
Amy @ Highstyle Restyle says
Thank you so much for featuring my copper anniversary gift. Handmade gifts are always the best...lots of love and thought go into them! 🙂
Carol says
Oh how I wish I could knit! (or crochet). My grandmother tried to teach me, but being left handed, it was not something I could seem to get the hang of. I have often wished that I could have learned, as I know there are great projects out there still that would be great gift ideas. One of the only times I wished that I were right handed!
Jami says
Oh gosh, Carol, I've known left-handed knitters/crocheters - have you looked for left-handed tutorials on YouTube? I bet you there are some that would walk you through it step-by-step! Can't have you wishing you were right-handed... 😉
brenda says
the absolute most prolific crocheter was my grandmother(a lefty) Her work was beautifully executed as well as just a constant stream of gifting.

Such a wonderful collection of gift ideas... much better than yet another bottle of generic lotion! I just came across your blog and am enjoying looking around.
Jami says
Thanks, Emily! And welcome - hope you stay awhile. 🙂
Julie says
I have been inspired, wow! Great ideas but they make some of my previous home made gifts look a bit simple and unprofessional. I can do this! I will do this! Thanks Jami
Jami says
We're only looking forward, Julie - all the steps we've taken got us to this point (I'm not sharing any of my duds from earlier, ha!). 🙂
