Add these free downloadable green and white Christmas gift tags to your gifts, bags, and treat boxes for an easy way to both identify and decorate them with style.
Just in time for the week-before-Christmas wrapping are these sweet gift tags in simple shapes and various styles. Whether you are wanting straight ‘to-from’ tags or tags with pretty images or phrases there is something for you here.
My graphic design daughter created these for us and I love them! The holly leaf shaped tags are a bit unusual and all of the designs are simple and sweet, reflecting AOC’s love of simple living. Of course green is my signature color, though it is dark enough that you could print it without color so it would be a dark gray if you’d like to have the tags work with other colors.
My hope is that you’ll use them along with my super time-saving, money-saving, and waste-saving wrapping system, keeping them for many years along with the ribbon and boxes or bags in your stash. Having this system to reuse wrapped boxes with lids and bags with beautiful, coordinated papers and colors is one of the things I love about the holidays. It’s so fun to get them out again and have our family’s wrapping done in just a few minutes!
Green and White Christmas Gift Tags
For the gifts outside our family, I plan on using the “joy” and “merry Christmas” tags on our goodie bags, since they’re a nice finishing touch for things without ribbons or bows. The other styles will adorn our gift boxes and bags for exchanges, teachers, and other events where it’s important to see the To and From area.
The ties I used here are from a roll of sparkly gold and cream bakers twine. Jute twine or any color of ribbon would also look nice.
To use this printable, print out the tags onto white cardstock (or other light-colored cardstock). Then simply cut each tag just outside of the green lines and use a standard hole punch in the circles to create openings for the twine or ribbon of your choice.
It’s simple to gain access to this printable – if you already receive AOC’s weekly newsletter, you’ll find this new printable PDF in the subscriber library!
