Join in on an 8-week challenge to live healthier – moving more, eating less, and choosing all the best foods.
For 2017 I’ve decided to run a Healthy Living Challenge for anyone interested in real lifestyle change with an emphasis on cooking real, simple foods. This will run for about 8 weeks and will take place in a private Facebook group where we can share our personal stories, victories, and encouragement.
It’s been more than 6 years now since I wrote about my real food weight loss and while eating less of normal, good food has made it easier to maintain than any of the other (many) diets I had tried, I’ve still gained 5 lbs. over the last year that I’d like to lose. It’s easy for portions to creep back and too much sugar to make it’s way into our American diets, so periodic challenges are a great way to recalibrate and hone our skills and focus to live our best lives.
Healthy living also includes other self-care issues like exercise, life-balance, and self-talk, so we’ll touch on these issues as well.
