Whether given alone or part of a food basket, colorful painted bowls and spoons make a unique & fun gift.
Hand painted dish ware is always a great gift- I’ve seen mugs with cute sayings and plates with fun designs on Pinterest – and I wanted to put my own spin on it by creating matching sets of bowls and spoons for our family Christmas gifts. (I think of “family gifts” as things a whole family could enjoy, like food gifts, throws, and games, and these fall into that category, since everyone uses bowls and spoons!)
This can be a pretty inexpensive gift if you use $1 bowls and spoons, though you can go more expensive, of course. Packaged alone they’d make a great gift, though you could also add them to a food basket as well (cereal or ice cream kit maybe?).
