Many people on your gift-giving lists will appreciate an easy-to-care for succulent terrarium planter, and you will appreciate how easy it is to make.

Succulents and sedums are experiencing a resurgence of popularity, and no wonder with their variety and ease of care. Well, for the most part- I think some are easier than others. No matter, everyone’s pretty enamored with them and they work together so well in many containers, including the succulent terrarium planter featured here.
This terrarium would be welcomed by teen girls and women of all ages as well as some of the men on your list who have their own spaces and would like a little greenery to literally ‘liven’ up the place. There are other things you can plant succulents in, too, like these vintage silver cups that I adore, small mason jars (think farmhouse style meets modern), or any unique container you find at thrift or antique stores.
Oh, and here’s my little secret: you can find very realistic looking succulents at craft stores – like no one can tell them apart realistic. You know, just in case.
