Happy Saturday to you! We are celebrating with our extended family this weekend and I hope you are getting some family time, too, or at least getting some holiday things checked off your list.
Make sure to grab some time to relax, too, and read a couple of books or watch a couple of movies that make some memories (btw, I've loved the suggestions in the comments on that linked article - I've found a couple new movies to add to our list!).
On to this week’s things I’m loving – and a few links I think you’ll love! (as always, some of the links I provide are affiliate links)
Updated this favorite recipe. Our family looks forward to my Make Ahead Monkey Bread - made with all real ingredients - every Christmas morning. It's been our tradition for four years now and I don't see it changing any time soon! I updated the photos so they show more of the mouth-watering aspect of this bread (just #yum), added a bit more clarification on the how-to, made a long pinnable graphic, and updated the printable recipe.
Just in time for your Christmas celebrations because I'd love for you all to enjoy this like we do!
And this one. SO - this is another Christmas morning tradition: Make Ahead Maple Mustard Bacon spiced with black pepper. Wow - the kids LOVE this (isn't it funny how I still say that when they're both young adults now?) and I needed to have a better image to add to Pinterest to more people could know about this, too.
I think you'll love this as much as we do - and maybe you're looking for another make ahead dish for Christmas morning? This, the Monkey Bread, another make ahead dish - Christmas eggs - and fruit make up our Christmas morning brunch. I plan on sharing our egg dish with you this week, too, so you can make your Christmas morning more relaxing and have your whole breakfast done the day before!
The joy of Amazon Prime delivery during the holidays. I have been LOVING Amazon Prime this season as we're living farther out from town. It seriously has saved me SO much time! It's like this: think of a gift I'd like to get, go to Amazon, find it, order it, and it's here in 2-3 days. Most of the time I don't even have to make a list - I just get it ordered as soon as I think of it.
It also has saved me the headache of finding specific items I need for handmade gifts - and I was able to help my mom find lids for a gift she's making too. Unfortunately, it wasn't' until she's spent hours driving around looking for a specific lid and then buying more expensive ones. When she came home and told me, I hopped on Amazon and within a few minutes had found lids for less and saved her almost $30!
There is still 7 days to order with Prime shipping to have something delivered by Christmas - go here to see and click the button on the page to start your free trial and see what I mean.
