Notes
To Use:
Sprinkle on anything like you would as any spice mixture - it's really good on grilled or roasted veggies.
Dry Rub: Use 2 tablespoons of the spice mix, rubbing over all sides of 1.5 pounds of chicken, fish, pork, tofu, or beef. Let sit 30 minutes to an hour before cooking as desired.
Marinade: Mix 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1-2 tablespoons seasoning mix, and 1 teaspoon salt in a bowl. Add protein and let sit for 30 minutes to an hour.
Glaze: Mix 1 tablespoon seasoning mix with 2-3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup and brush it on near the end of cooking.
Sauce for dipping or drizzling: In a small bowl stir together 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon water, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, and 2 teaspoons seasoning mix. Let sit for a bit to blend.
