Farmhouse Cottage DIY Christmas Ornaments

Making simple farmhouse cottage inspired DIY Christmas ornaments is a fun and easy way to bring a unique look to your tree, decoration, and packages.

Easy and unique DIY Christmas ornaments with a farmhouse cottage style for trees, decor, packages and gifts. Make a tradition of creating a new ornament each year to add a personal touch to your collection.

I’ve mentioned before that I love creating simple DIY Christmas ornaments each year to add to our holiday decorations. When our kids were at home, we had a Friday-after-Thanksgiving tradition of crafting for Christmas. It was usually ornaments and we’d often add in stamping tags and wrapping paper, too. Sometimes we’d invite others to join us, which was always fun.

My daughter still likes to craft with me sometimes, but if she can’t I make it a priority to fit some ornament making in where ever I can because I always want to have some easy ornaments to add to our collection. Our homemade ornaments, though perfectly imperfect, are my favorite ornaments always. Each year as I pull out the decorations I’m reminded one by one of sweet memories of crafting around our table.

To give us all more ideas for easy and simple DIY Christmas ornaments, I’ve rounded up some of my past projects and lots of great options from some fabulous bloggers – all with a farmhouse cottage theme. But really, these ornaments fit into any decorating theme, because Christmas! I hope you are inspired to make your own ornaments, or if you already do, that you find a new handmade ornament to add to your collection.
