31+ Handmade Gifts for Christmas, Birthdays & More
31 handmade gifts for Christmas, birthday, and more! There’s something for everyone in this list, including resources for even more DIY gift ideas inspiration. All the project links are listed below!

Welcome to AOC’s series all about handmade gifts.
On this page you will be able to see all the tutorials I highlighted a few years ago for homemade gifts that ranged from foods, personal items, kids gifts, ideas for men & women, and ‘family’ gifts (one item you can give to a whole family). Some are from me, and some from some talented bloggers.
There is SO much inspiration in these great ideas! Some use simple sewing or knitting/crocheting skills, others paint, or simply putting things together in a basket/jar – but all show the time and care you took to create a meaningful gift.
Which is so much better than just pulling something off the store shelf, right?
Handmade gifts – both giving and receiving them – are near and dear to my heart and I have also created some great resources for ideas and inspirationĀ if you’re planning your holiday gifts.

Jami,
Great series! I’m excited to see what you highlight each week. I can’t believe it’s time to get started on homemade gifts already, but it sure is! š
I know I will enjoy this series, but I will also miss your 3 things for Saturday post!
I’m so glad you enjoy the 3 Things posts, Jennifer and I WILL be continuing those for the rest of the month, I just took a break this week to “launch” the 31 days series. No worries, then. š
Wonderful, thank you! And per Cherie’s comment…yes, excellent timing. š
What a great idea for a series – I look forward to following along!
It is so helpful that you are starting this DIY gifts series October 1st. So many sites wait until December when we’re all so busy we don’t have time to start new projects so they end up on the back burner or don’t get made at all. Thanks Jami !!!
I’m glad, Cherie – October is when I want to think about it so I’m not all last minute and I figured most of you would, too. š
