    Quick DIY Mother's Day Gifts

Need something fast, but still meaningful, to give to the special women in your life for Mother's Day? These DIY Mother's Day gifts are easy to make with minimal supplies and time. Plus free printable card, art, and coupons that you can print out for mom, too!

Quick DIY Mother's Day Gifts collage

Mother's Day is the holiday it seems most appropriate to give handmade gifts. Gifts you make can be personal, sentimental, and come straignt from the heart.

Not that there's anything wrong with a nice piece of jewelry, tickets to a great show, or potted flower. But it's also great to give something you've taken the time and care to make.

Some of my favorite Mother's Day gifts were handmade - the mugs with our children's drawings on them, the painted flower from my daughter, or the reclaimed wooden bench made by Brian and our son.

So, while I have lots of handmade gift ideas that can work for Mother's Day (23+ creative handmade gifts and easy knitted handmade gifts to name two), I thought I'd put a list together dedicated to gifts you can make for mom.

And not just any gifts. These are all gifts that can be made quickly and easily - just in case you need last minute ideas.

And they are all useful and pretty cool, too - I know I'd love any of these.

Make a quick reclaimed wood box and fill with mason jar planters, either flowers or herbs.

mason jar-ribbon centerpiece with live plants

Or skip the box and give a set of easy mason jars planted with live flowers.

Simple Flower Pot Design for Sun

Another classic Mother's Day gift are potted flowers - why not create your own planted container using flowers you know mom loves, tailored to her yard?

Here are two easy-to-follow flower pot "recipes:"

    • Simple Flower Pot Design for Sun Using Basic Garden Center Plants
    • Easy Flower Pot Design for Shade Using Garden Center Plants
DIY flaxseed heat pad-warming pillow video and gift tags

You can make these pretty and welcomed flaxseed warming pillows in minutes and then package with a bow and printable tags.

This is one of my most popular DIY's - both on the website and requests from family and friends!

    Sugar scrub in container

I am firmly on the sugar scrub fan train after seeing what it can do for dry flaky skin!

I first used it after my son gave a jar to me, so I know first hand how welcomed this will be.

Find the 3-ingredient sugar scrub I use here, plus resources for more scent ideas.

    Burlap jewelry board organizer

Burlap Jewelry Holder (or Message Board) made from an inexpensive or thrifted corkboard.

This is one of my favorite DIY's ever and everyone I gave it to loved it!

    Peanut Butter Chocolate Truffles

You can never go wrong with chocolate truffles! Although you'd pay a lot for them at a candy shop, they are really simple to make at home.

Choose one type to make and coat it in different toppings, add them to a box and you have a wonderful quick gift!

Or make a couple different varieties (and have some leftover for you, ha!):
