When I found this wonderful acrostic with all the words I associate with good moms, I just knew it would make a great card:
- compassionate
- loving
- nurturing
- kindhearted
- selfless
- strong
While I know we are not all blessed with mothers who exhibit these characteristics, I want to encourage you, if that’s your situation, to find a woman who has ‘mothered’ you in some way to bless.
And as a mom myself, I know I don’t always meet these ideals, but I strive to – so let’s bond together as women and moms to encourage each other with words like these!

Tips for Printing

After downloading the free file to your computer, use these supplies and tips to print them:
- For best results, print the cards out on cardstock (this 90lb. weight cardstock is a better price than small craft store packages) with a color printer.
- The cards are 4″ x 5″ which fits into A2 envelopes – here’s a white version that would work nicely with this card design.
- Also shown in the photo above is the basic small paper trimmer I use and one of my favorite small brush pens that make almost any handwriting better.

- The card file produces two cards per letter size page. Cut the middle horizontal line to separate them, fold on the vertical line, and then trim the edges as needed.
I hope this card blesses someone close to you! Thank you for being a part of our simple homemade life community!

What a pretty card, Jami! You are so talented. And I love the suggestion to give the card to ANY woman who fits the qualities. <3
Thank you, Michelle – but I have to give credit to my daughter – she designed the card for me. š
