Easily download this free printable Mother's Day card to show the mom in your life how appreciated she is with a meaningful acrostic.

Some links in this article are affiliate links and if you click on them I will receive a small commission at no cost to you.

To show the women in your life how special they are, how about a free printable Mother's Day card to go along with a pot of flowers, a handmade gift, or a gift card to her favorite place?

When I found this wonderful acrostic with all the words I associate with good moms:

    • compassionate
    • loving
    • nurturing
    • kindhearted
    • selfless
    • strong

I just knew it would make a great card!

While I know we are not all blessed with mothers who exhibit these characteristics, I want to encourage you, if that's your situation, to find a woman who has 'mothered' you in some way to bless.

And as a mom myself, I know I don't always meet these ideals, but I strive to - so let's bond together as women and moms to encourage each other with words like these!

If you're looking for more fun DIY gift ideas for Mother's Day, check out this list of easy and quick ideas.

Make Your Printable Mother's Day Card

Making free printable Mother's Day card

First, download the free file to your computer and then use these supplies and tips to print them:

    • For best results, print the cards out on cardstock (this 90lb. weight cardstock is a better price than small craft store packages) with a color printer.
    • The cards are 4" x 5" which fits into A2 envelopes - here's a white version or multicolored A2 envelopes that would work nicely with this card design.
    • Also shown in the photo above is the basic small paper trimmer I use and one of my favorite small brush pens that make almost any handwriting better.

The card file produces two cards per letter size page and is free with a subscription to my popular newsletter that comes with access to the VIP library of more printables, eBooks, and checklists.

Once the file is downloaded to your computer, it's simply a matter of printing, cutting, and then personalizing.

Remember, if you’re already a VIP subscriber, you can download this printable by using the subscriber password located at the bottom of every email you receive from An Oregon Cottage.
