Here we are at the end of another year – can you believe it? One of the things I enjoy about the turn of another calendar year is looking back at the previous year to see what’s been accomplished, what I learned, and what I still have (actually would like) to do.
So this week on AOC is all that: looking at the top posts here in 2013, revisiting the goals I made last January and then looking forward to 2014.
And if you’re reading a lot of blogs and seeing a lot of lists like this, you might wonder what’s in it for you – so here is what I hope you might enjoy about this end-of-year ritual (which we’ve done in 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013):
- Find some popular articles here that you might have missed
- Be inspired to make or do something that I’ve posted (always one of my biggest motivations for writing!)
- Be inspired to make goals & dream
- Realize it’s okay to not meet all those goals, ha!
So, today I’m sharing our most popular diy & gardening related posts written in 2013 (you can find 2012’s most popular diy posts here, 2011’s here, and 2010’s here). I’m starting with number 10 and working my way to the biggest diy post of the year – I hope you will chime in by letting me know which of these where your favorites in the comments – or if yours didn’t make the list!

Just found your blog today, and I LOVE it! :). Your garden is so pretty, and I love the recipes! :). As a tween, most people think I’m a little odd for liking cooking and the like so much, but I do. And thank you for this blog! Can’t wait to try out some of the recipes!

Wow, Jan, I’m honored that you like the blog and are finding useful things here!! And I think it’s terrific that you like to cook – it seems to be dying out among younger people, so I’m glad to know you aren’t one of them. 😉 Please feel free to ask any question you have!

What a great line-up, Jami! You know, I love your gardening posts the most. So my favorite are the Tuesday Garden Party posts. But, I did really enjoyed reading about your trip to Greece this year, too. 🙂 Happy New Year to you! I’m looking forward to the start of TGP again.
